Dal 2007 è autore e revisore di pubblicazioni scientifiche per testate come il Microelectronics Journal e le riviste IEEE. Collabora con diverse aziende del settore elettronico, blog e riviste italiane e inglesi. Da anni collabora attivamente con FARE Elettronica come giornalista tecnico specializzato ed è Direttore Tecnico delle sessioni convegnistiche di Fortronic forte dell’esperienza maturata nell’elettronica di Potenza.

Power semiconductors based on silicon carbide play an important role in the centre stage of electric vehicle charging circuits. But there is still a lot of innovation in traditional silicon components. This presentation informs about the advantages of either technology, and introduces dedicated MOSFETs, Schottky Diodes, High Voltage and Low Power Loss Rectifiers. Get an overview about the right components for input rectification, power conditioning, inverter stage, auxiliary circuits, over-voltage and ESD protection. Diotec Semiconductor is a manufacturer with European headquarters, and four own worldwide located factories. Since 50 years, it offers a deep know-how from wafer and chip production to assembly and test of semiconductor devices.
