NOTICE PROVIDED UNDER ARTICLES 13-14 OF GDPR (GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION) 2016/679
Information for clients, suppliers, partners, and other parties, Article 13 of European Regulation No 16/679 and Article 13/14 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 updated as of May 24, 2018
Tecno Scarl, as the Data Controller of personal data, with its registered office in Milan, Via Premuda 4, hereby wishes to provide adequate information to individuals who act on behalf of and in the name of suppliers, clients, partners, and other subjects involved in contractual or pre-contractual activities or as recipients of services provided under Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003 – “Personal Data Protection Code” and Article 3 of GDPR 679/16 – “European Regulation on Personal Data Protection.”
1. Data Subject to Processing
The personal data processed include personal and contact information provided or received by the data subject on occasions such as:
• Visits or phone calls or emails;
• Direct contacts obtained as a result of participating in events, etc.;
• Requests for commercial information, proposal of offers;
• Requests through our websites or through the websites of suppliers, clients, partners, and other subjects;
• Transmissions and transactions following orders for the supply of services or goods (provided/purchased).
2. Purposes of Processing
The personal data of individuals who act on behalf of and in the name of suppliers, clients, partners, and other parties are processed for:
• Sending communications through various means (telephone, mobile phone, SMS, email, fax, postal mail, etc.);
• Making requests or fulfilling incoming requests;
• Exchanging information related to the execution of the contractual relationship, including pre and post-contractual activities, including assistance activities;
• Fulfillment of obligations provided by laws, regulations, or EU legislation, as well as compliance with measures issued by public authorities authorized for this purpose or by supervisory and control bodies to which TECNO Scarl is subject (e.g., tax assessments, etc.).
• For ancillary purposes such as “News Alerts” via email or SMS. For example, in cases of data breach event communications.
The data subject may refuse to provide their personal data to the Data Controller. However, providing personal data is necessary for the proper and efficient management of the contractual relationship with suppliers, clients, partners, and other parties involved in the Data Controller’s activities (such as the provision of services or the sale of goods). Therefore, a refusal to provide data may compromise all or part of the contractual relationship or pre and post-contractual activities.

4. Processing Methods
The data of the data subjects will be processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency, using manual or automated tools, including insertion into databases, lists, and lists suitable for data storage, management, and transmission, in the ways and within the limits necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes.
TECNO Scarl has implemented adequate security measures to protect the data of individuals who act on behalf of and in the name of suppliers, clients, partners, and other parties, including but not limited to firewalls, antivirus, anti-ransomware, virtual machines, encrypted backups, and retention timers.
Data will be processed exclusively by authorized personnel within TECNO Scarl, in relation to the purpose of the processing.
5. Recipients of Data
The personal data processed by the Data Controller will not be disclosed or made known to unspecified parties in any form, including their provision or simple consultation. Instead, they may be communicated to the employees of the Data Controller and to some external subjects who collaborate with them, always in compliance with the stated purposes. In particular, these are employees/collaborators/external suppliers who, based on their roles and job duties, have been authorized to process personal data, trained to do so within the scope of their competences, and in compliance with the instructions given to them by the Data Controller. They may also be communicated, to the extent strictly necessary, to subjects who, for the purpose of issuing our orders or requests for information and quotes or the formulation of offers, our services, must provide goods and/or perform services on our behalf. Our technicians responsible for SW applications, IT networks, and connectivity assistance may access the data (for assistance purposes) or external consultants or personnel from companies providing such services. Finally, they may be communicated to subjects authorized to access them by virtue of legal provisions, regulations, and EU legislation. The updated list of data processors, where required, is available at the headquarters of TECNO Scarl.
6. Data Transfer
The Data Controller does not transfer personal data to Third Countries or international organizations; personal data are stored on servers located within the European Union.
If necessary, the Data Controller may transfer personal data outside the EU. In this case, the Data Controller assures in advance
that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with applicable legal provisions, subject to the conclusion of standard contractual clauses as provided by the European Commission.
Data Retention
The Data Controller retains and processes personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes indicated. Subsequently, personal data will be stored, as documented in our Processing Register. The retention period may vary significantly based on the purposes, the type of data processed, and legal obligations.
When personal data are no longer needed, they may be deleted, de-indexed, or securely destroyed in accordance with our policy.
7. Rights of the Data Subject
Under Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation, you have the following rights:
a) Request confirmation of the existence or non-existence of your personal data;
b) Obtain information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom personal data have been or will be communicated, and, where possible, the retention period;
c) Obtain the correction and/or deletion of data;
d) Obtain a restriction of processing;
e) (where applicable) obtain data portability, i.e., receive them from the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit them to another Data Controller without hindrance;
f) Object to processing at any time, including in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes;
g) Object to an automated decision-making process related to individuals, including profiling.
h) Request access to personal data from the Data Controller and the correction or deletion of personal data or the restriction of processing concerning the data subject or object to processing, in addition to the right to data portability;
i) Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We inform you that during the event, video recordings and photographs will be taken (including by third parties) for the purpose of dissemination for promotional and communication activities (websites, mass media, social networks, etc.).
